I have worked with Ann for 10 years as a member of the STUC Women’s Committee.
During that period Ann has raised the profile of the Women’s Committee and our campaigns from both an industrial and political perspective which has been welcomed by working women across Scotland.
Over the years Ann has supported Committee members to develop and grow in confidence through education and interaction with politicians at both local a and national level.
On a personal note Ann has been a great friend to me over the years and I believe that she would be an asset to the University and its students as she had a real passion for education and the development of others.
